Leslie moved to Ruidoso in 2004 after investing in, what she thought would be a vacation home. She grew up snow skiing and spending her summers in the Sacramento mountains camping with her family at Bonito Lake. She fell in love with this "mountain oasis" in the New Mexico desert.
Leslie's knowledge, experience, and skill set provide excellent service to her clients. She understands that finding the right property is a collective effort between buyer, seller and real estate broker.

Shannon Scheel

Shannon's journey began in Central Texas before moving to Ruidoso at 15 with her Mom. Her grandparents had lived there her whole life, giving her the best of both worlds as a child: the beauty of the Texas Hill Country and the enchantment of Ruidoso’s mountains.
Her family owned various businesses in the area —real estate, construction, nightly rentals, and septic installations.
Shannon's first job was at their nightly rental cabins, instilling in her a strong and enthusiastic work ethic. After graduating in Capitan, she returned to Central Texas to pursue studies in Marketing. Her career led her to Baltimore, excelling in higher education administration at Johns Hopkins University. She served as the executive assistant and leadership recruiter in the Director of Radiology’s office, managing communications with executives, vendors, and senior admin. However, the 2020 pandemic brought her back to Ruidoso, where she discovered a passion for real estate, blending her experiences to serve clients with sincerity and care.
Shannon approaches her work with a deep sense of dedication, treating each client as if they were family, and leveraging her unique background to navigate the intricacies of the Ruidoso real estate market with integrity and authenticity.

Ruidoso has been Julie’s home for 30 years. Originally from Texas, she moved here in 1990 from Texas and raised four wonderful sons in this village. Julie has firsthand knowledge of Ruidoso and Alto areas having lived and served here in many different capacities. Julie has been very involved in the Community through the years serving on Lodgers tax as well as several economic and strategic planning committees for the VOR as well as being past president of Heal and the Nest. She is currently serving on the Ruidoso Board of Realtors.
Being involved in music and ministry for many years in this area has brought her a desire to provide value to everyone she meets. Knowing the buying and selling process from start to finish as a Multi-Million Dollar Producer, she brings 7 years experience as a Realtor and currently has her Accredited Buyer Representative(ABR) designation as well as C2Ex (Realtors® Commitment to Excellence) and Resort and Second Home Property Specialist (RSPS) credentials.

In 2013, I came to Ruidoso, New Mexico, on vacation and immediately fell in love with this charming mountain community. A year later, I made the decision to call Ruidoso home, packing up my life in Frisco, Texas, and beginning a beautiful new chapter in the mountains.
With 20+ years of customer service experience, I take great pride in providing every client with a gold-standard service experience built on communication, integrity, attention to detail, and genuine care.
My real estate background goes beyond buying and selling. Before obtaining my real estate license, I spent five years working with a local title company, gaining valuable experience in the escrow and title side of real estate transactions. This experience gives me a strong understanding of the many details and moving parts involved from contract to closing.
I have also had the privilege of serving as a Commissioner for the Alto Lakes Special Zoning District for more than nine years, giving me additional insight into our local community and its unique considerations.
